D11 highway undergoes major 757 million CZK repair Infrastructure projects in Czech Republic and Slovakia
Infrastructure maintenance and reconstruction projects are being implemented across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In the Czech Republic, the Road and Motorway Directorate (ŘSD) initiated a two-stage, 40-million CZK repair of the I/37 road between Osová Bítýška and the D1 motorway. This project involves temporary traffic lights and scheduled closures of the Velká Bíteš exit to manage traffic on the aging surface. Other regional developments include the completion of an 86.78 million CZK bridge reconstruction on road I/55 in Břeclav, a 757 million CZK surface replacement on the D11 highway between Poděbrady and Sadská, and noise reduction improvements on the Prague Ring Road. In Slovakia, preparations have started for the reconstruction of the Mládežnícka Street bridge in Banská Bystrica, alongside work on the D2 motorway junction at Dúbravka near Bratislava.
