Experts, including doctors Robbi Manghi and Marco Nigrisoli, alongside Lieutenant Colonel Adolfo Gregori of the RIS and Rome fire department personnel, used a mannequin and an athlete with a similar physique to Rossi to reconstruct the fall. Preliminary findings from these simulations suggest that Rossi was likely attacked by at least two or three large individuals. Medical experts noted that Rossi was conscious during the encounter and likely attempted to defend himself. These results support the commission’s interim report from March, which officially ruled out suicide. The findings point toward a violent assault, reinforcing the theory that Rossi was thrown from the window during a physical altercation. Commission President Gianluca Vinci stated that the investigation is moving toward a solution. Experts suggest the initial intent may have been intimidation, during which Rossi was potentially held outside the window before losing his grip on the ledge and falling.
