Overview

DC Comics is expanding the reach and aesthetic of its Absolute Universe through specialized variant covers. Initially, the company announced a manga-inspired variant for Absolute Batman #25, designed by Clay Mann and Seth Mann to mimic a Japanese Shonen Jump anthology titled ‘Monthly Batman’.

Following this, DC and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products released a limited edition Indonesian variant cover for Absolute Batman #23 at Indonesia Comic Con 2026. Featuring artist Yasmine Putri, this release marks the first time a cover variant has been created specifically for the Indonesian market.
