Denmark youth engagement and participation initiatives

Denmark is implementing various initiatives aimed at increasing engagement and community participation among its youth.

In Thisted Municipality, the rebranded Ungdomsskolen Thy is introducing a Youth Council to provide young people with more direct influence. This initiative includes the operation of five youth houses across Thisted, Hanstholm, Snedsted, Hurup, and Hannæs-Østerild to provide social and creative spaces.
