Denver Nuggets player Alpha Diallo integration

Overview

During training camp, Alpha Diallo, a 29-year-old former EuroLeague Defender of the Year, has impressed head coach David Adelman with his screen defense and off-ball activity. Diallo signed a one-year, $1.4 million guaranteed deal following five seasons with AS Monaco.

As the Nuggets begin their season, Diallo enters the league as an official rookie. Despite his rookie status, teammate Nikola Jokic has described him as a “game-tested veteran,” highlighting his athleticism and defensive prowess as he seeks to impact the game through an aggressive defensive style.
