Denver Nuggets roster developments
Overview
The Denver Nuggets have engaged in several roster adjustments to prepare for the upcoming NBA season. Initially, the team signed guards Rayshawn Dickerson Voters and Keonte Jones to short-term contracts to allow them to compete for roster spots during training camp. Following the departures of Tim Hardaway Jr. and Michael Porter Jr., the team has sought to address a deficit in three-point shooting, with speculation regarding the potential acquisition of veteran Buddy Hield.
In subsequent moves, the Nuggets agreed to a two-way contract with guard Ryan Nembhard, who became an unrestricted free agent after being waived by the Charlotte Hornets. To facilitate this signing, the team will waive KJ Simpson to accommodate Nembhard within one of the three available two-way roster spots.
