Swiss winger Derek Kutesa was initially reported to be transferring from AEK Athens back to the Swiss club Servette. The club is also reportedly proposing a three-year contract instead of a previously discussed long-term deal. Amidst these complications, AEK Athens coach Marco Nikolić suggested Kutesa might remain with the Greek club if the transfer fails, while FC Sion has also expressed interest in the player. Williams noted that a minor issue during Kutesa’s medical examinations led Servette to modify negotiation terms to align with their original agreement. While an agreement has been reached with the 28-year-old player, Servette is awaiting a response to a revised proposal sent 48 hours ago. Williams criticized AEK’s stance, stating, “AEK cannot insist that things remain as they are now, because this was not part of the agreement we had negotiated,” and added that the club should not be treated like a “milking cow.”
