Design and architecture initiatives in Valencia

Overview

Valencia is hosting several initiatives to promote design and architecture. The Valencia Design Fest is scheduled to run from September 11 to October 15, supported by an updated Valencia Design Map intended to showcase the city’s creative studios and projects. Additionally, a retrospective exhibition for architect Oscar Tusquets Blanca will be held from September 28 to October 8.

In a separate academic and cultural effort, the Universitat Politècnica de València is hosting a free exhibition titled ‘Los arquitectos de la primera escuela. Legados del Archivo del CTAV y la docencia en la ETSA-UPV’. Organized by the Colegio Territorial de Arquitectos de Valencia, the exhibition features documentation from the CTAV Archive to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Valencia School of Architecture and remains open until October 1.
