Didacta Abruzzo educational forum

The Didacta Abruzzo educational forum was held at the Fiera di Lanciano from October 21 to 23, 2026. Organized by Firenze Fiera in collaboration with Didacta International and INDIRE, the event aimed to provide professional training and updates for approximately 24,000 educators from Abruzzo and surrounding regions, including Molise, Marche, Puglia, Lazio, and Campania.

The program featured 90 scientific events, including workshops and seminars, alongside exhibitions from roughly 150 companies. To accommodate the scale of the event, the venue expanded its capacity from three to six pavilions.

Discussions during the forum focused on educational innovation, specifically the structural impact of artificial intelligence on teaching methodologies, STEM disciplines, and student assessment. Other key topics included addressing demographic shifts in multi-grade classrooms and the needs of schools in Abruzzo’s internal areas. INDIRE presented ‘Immagini in classe’, an audiovisual platform for classroom support, while INDIRE president Francesco Manfredi emphasized the necessity of specialized training for support teachers to ensure educational continuity during school reforms.
