Disappearance of MRSM Alor Gajah students
Overview
Two 16-year-old female students from Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM) Alor Gajah, who had been missing since August 11, were located safe by police at Central Market in Kuala Lumpur. The students had previously been tracked to the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) before their discovery.
Following the incident, Mara Chairman Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki ordered a review of standard operating procedures (SOP) concerning the transportation of students to clinics. The students underwent medical examinations at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and have since been reunited with their families. Kuala Lumpur Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the disappearance.
