Disney Lorcana digital and product expansion

Overview

During the D23 event, Disney and Ravensburger announced the development of a digital version of the Disney Lorcana trading card game (TCG). This digital client is intended for both mobile and desktop platforms to expand the game’s community reach. Elaine Chase, head of the card games department at Ravensburger, noted that the digital version aims to allow fans to “discover cards from any connected device to grow the community.”

In addition to the digital expansion, Ravensburger is introducing new physical products. These include Collector Boosters, which will feature twelve foil cards per pack and increased odds for Enchanted and Iconic cards. These boosters are scheduled to launch alongside the ‘Into The Inkdark’ set in 2027. Furthermore, Disney revealed the ‘Cosmic Quest’ set for Spring 2027, featuring characters such as Stitch, Ariel, and Flounder.
