To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Disney and Pixar film ‘Cars’, various commemorative events and products are being released globally. In Japan, Bandai Namco Experience Inc. is releasing exclusive anniversary prizes starting August 21, 2026, via Namco amusement facilities and online crane services. The collection includes a large shiny-fabric ‘Lightning McQueen’ plush, a set of five character mascots—featuring Lightning McQueen, The King, Chick Hicks, and Doc Hudson—and a themed storage box. A one-week limited theatrical re-release of the Japanese-dubbed version is scheduled from September 4 to September 10, 2026.
