Dominic Zvada performance with New York Giants

Overview

New York Giants rookie kicker Dominic Zvada began the NFL season with a perfect record, successfully converting nine field goal attempts and five extra-point attempts through the first four weeks. His performance included a 52-yard field goal against the Arizona Cardinals, which tied for the third-longest by a rookie in franchise history.

Following this early success, Zvada experienced a decline in accuracy, converting only four of nine field goal attempts over a three-game stretch. This period included missed attempts of 56 and 44 yards during a victory against the Houston Texans, as well as a missed kickoff assignment.

Despite these struggles, head coach John Harbaugh stated that Zvada’s position is not in jeopardy. Zvada characterized his recent performance as ‘unacceptable’ and indicated he would use the team’s upcoming bye week to prepare for future games.
