The Hindi mystery thriller franchise is preparing for its third and final installment, officially titled ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 2, 2026, a date coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti. Directed by Abhishek Pathak and produced by Panorama Studios and Star Studios, the movie features the return of Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar. Following the trailer launch, production has completed a 25-day filming schedule in Goa. Filming returned to several iconic locations, including Noronha’s Bungalow, the Salgaonkar family residence, which Ajay Devgn noted is maintained by an 85-year-old caretaker. Additionally, director Abhishek Pathak revealed that composer Ravi Basrur was selected for the film’s score due to scheduling constraints with Devi Sri Prasad. During the trailer launch, Ajay Devgn expressed a desire for the original Malayalam lead, Mohanlal, and director Jeethu Joseph, to watch and approve of the film. While anticipation remains high, trade analysts have noted a competitive box office window, with several other films slated for release in the weeks following the debut.
