The Dubai Mallathon initiative has launched as part of the Dubai Summer Surprises 2026 program, utilizing air-conditioned indoor spaces to host fitness and wellness activities.

Initially, the program debuted at Dubai International Airport (DXB) Terminal 3, where the departures area was converted into an indoor walking track for staff, the oneDXB community, and People of Determination. Majed Al Joker, Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Airports, stated that the event encourages people to be part of something “more than just exercise.”

The initiative has since expanded to include free indoor running and walking sessions at seven major malls, such as the Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates, running through September 15. Additionally, DXB continues to host weekly walking sessions every Friday throughout August.
