Dubai Police luxury fleet expansion
Overview
Dubai Police continues to expand its luxury patrol fleet, recently adding a Mansory-tuned Ferrari 812 Superfast and a Lamborghini Temerario hybrid.
The Ferrari 812 Superfast, unveiled at the Arabian Travel Market, marks the fifth vehicle delivered by Mansory to the force. It features a 6.5-liter V12 engine producing 800 horsepower, a top speed of 345 km/h, and specialized aerodynamic modifications including a carbon fiber splitter, a new grille, and a large fixed rear wing. The vehicle maintains the signature white and green police livery and is designated for high-visibility patrols in major tourist areas.
Following this, the department introduced the Lamborghini Temerario, a hybrid supercar developed through a partnership with Lamborghini Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The Temerario is a high-performance electrified vehicle (HPEV) powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with three electric motors, generating a combined 920 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 343 km/h.
Most recently, at the WETEX 2026 exhibition, the department added the Yangwang U8, a high-performance electric SUV from the Chinese brand Yangwang, a subsidiary of BYD. The U8 produces 1,197 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. It features unique capabilities such as 360-degree tank turns and an emergency floating mode for moving on water.
Managed by the Tourist Police Department, these vehicles operate near major landmarks to facilitate community engagement. Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri stated that the luxury fleet represents an “innovative approach to policing,” intended to combine a security presence with public awareness and community outreach.
