The Public Employment Service (DYPA) is organizing its 57th Career Day in Thessaloniki, scheduled for September 11 and 12 at Warehouse C of the Port of Thessaloniki. Thessaloniki from 10:00 to 18:00. The event features more than 100 participating companies offering over 2,500 job vacancies. These positions span various sectors, including industry, industry (food, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and construction materials), wholesale and retail trade, information technology, telecommunications, renewable energy, transport, healthcare, and hospitality. Available roles range from high-skill positions, such as engineers mechanical, chemical, civil, and electrical engineers, as well as IT professionals, to administrative staff, sales consultants, and technical trades. Minister of Labor and Social Security Niki Kerameus described the event as the largest of its kind in Thessaloniki. Addressing specialized labor shortages, Kerameus highlighted vocational initiatives, such as apprenticeship programs in Grevena where students combine practical training with classroom instruction to secure guaranteed employment. Job seekers can meet company representatives directly for on-site interviews. Additionally, DYPA employment advisors will be present to provide information regarding market demand trends and available employment programs.
