Dyson Nurovi robot vacuum product launch

Overview

Dyson has expanded its home cleaning technology through the introduction of the Nurovi robot vacuum lineup. Initial developments included the R2 Nurovi, a mid-range model featuring MyDyson app integration for mapping and control, positioned between the hard-floor focused R1 Nurovi and the upcoming R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub.

Following this, Dyson launched the R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry, priced at 849 euros. This model utilizes a unique cleaning design with triangular pads inspired by the Reuleaux triangle, allowing for eccentric movements to better cover rectangular surfaces and corners. The R2 provides 21,000 Pa of suction power and includes a bagless cleaning station. This series, which also includes the R1 Dry and the UV-utilizing R3 Spot+Scrub, represents Dyson’s strategic effort to compete in the autonomous robot market against brands such as Roborock, Dreame, and Ecovacs.
