EcoFlow residential energy storage product launches

Overview

EcoFlow has expanded its residential energy storage offerings through the introduction of new modular and whole-home backup systems.

In September, the company launched the STREAM 5000, a modular home energy storage system with a 5.024 kWh capacity. The unit supports up to 5,000 W of solar input and allows for direct connection of solar modules to a single unit containing the charge controller, storage, and inverter. An alternative, the STREAM AC 5000, was also noted for users with existing solar installations.

By October, EcoFlow announced the TITAN Series Whole-Home Backup Ecosystem, which includes the TITAN 5000 Classic, TITAN 5000, and TITAN 5000 Plus models. These systems feature a 5kWh LiFePO4 capacity that is expandable up to 30kWh. Power outputs range from 4kW in the Classic model to 7.2kW in the standard and Plus models, with the TITAN 5000 Plus capable of reaching 10kW when paired with X-Fusion 2.0 PV Boost technology. The series is designed for flexible installation to mitigate utility costs and can integrate with the Smart Home Panel 10 to work alongside third-party solar installations. The product design was informed by data suggesting that most households maintain power demands below 6.7 kW for the vast majority of the time.
