EcoFlow solar and energy storage product expansion

EcoFlow has expanded its energy storage and solar solutions, specifically targeting the growing demand for energy autonomy in German households. Initially, the company launched the Stream series, which includes the Stream Ultra—a vertical-design unit for balcony power plants with a capacity of approximately 1,769 Wh—and the Stream 5000, a larger system with a 5,024 Wh capacity and integrated inverter. The Stream 5000 is expandable up to 90 kWh. Following these launches, EcoFlow showcased a broader ecosystem at the IFA 2026 trade fair in Berlin. This presentation included the compact RIVER Gen4 power station, the professional-grade PowerRock 4000, and the OCEAN 2 three-phase home storage system. Additionally, the company introduced a ‘Local Mode’ for the STREAM series, enabling systems to remain operational and controllable via app without an internet connection. Recent developments further expand this portfolio with the introduction of the DELTA Pro, designed for home backup and mobile power. The DELTA Pro features a base capacity of 3.6 kWh, expandable to 25 kWh, and utilizes LiFePO4 battery technology rated for over 6,500 charge cycles at 50 percent capacity. It supports charging via standard outlets and EV stations at up to 3,400 W. In the balcony power plant segment, the Stream 5000 competes with the Anker SOLIX Solarbank 4 Pro. The Stream 5000 integrates a storage unit, inverter, and energy management system, supporting up to 5,000 W of PV input for up to 12 solar panels and is expandable to 15 kWh. The system is noted for a compact design requiring ‘40 percent less space than comparable models’. These product developments occur amid a broader shift toward decentralized energy solutions in Europe.
