EFA Group expansion and AI infrastructure development
Overview
EFA Group, a defense and aerospace ecosystem, announced plans to list on a Euronext network exchange within the next two years, with management considering the Athens exchange as a priority. To support this growth, the group is investing 6 million euros in new infrastructure to expand its technological footprint.
This investment includes the development of the Alexandria Tech Campus in Neo Psychiko. The group recently inaugurated the Delta Building, an 800-square-meter facility designed as a hub for technology, artificial intelligence, and knowledge exchange. The building houses STHENOS AI, a subsidiary focused on advanced AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, and simulation technologies for defense and dual-use applications.
STHENOS AI aims to increase its workforce from 30 to 80 employees by March 2027 and has signed cooperation memorandums with two Greek firms to advance AI and quantum technology capabilities. Through these initiatives, the group seeks to leverage Greek engineering to enhance technological autonomy and serve international markets.
