Prosecutors allege the defendants conspired to supply access codes to the bank’s Virtual Center Platform and disclosed server IP and domain credentials in exchange for $15,000. While Chukwuebuka pleaded guilty, Aghogho pleaded not guilty.

In Enugu, the EFCC has launched an investigation into Raheem Abiodun Wasiu for an alleged $12,000 fraud targeting Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in South-East Nigeria. Wasiu allegedly used a method of posing as a wealthy contractor to collect United States dollars from operators before presenting fake Naira bank transfer alerts to simulate payment.
