Eivør album Tungl release campaign

Overview

Faroese artist Eivør has begun releasing singles in anticipation of her upcoming studio album, Tungl, which is scheduled for release on October 16, 2026.

The first single, ‘Verjugarðar / Walls’, is described as an electronic rock ballad exploring the silence that can build walls between people. To support the album, Eivør has planned special concerts in the Faroe Islands and Iceland, alongside a headline tour across North America and subsequent dates in Europe and the UK.

Following this, the artist released ‘Spøkilsir / Revenants’, a track utilizing dream-pop and trip-hop textures to explore themes of embracing personal imperfections. The song is accompanied by a music video directed by Gwenaël Akira featuring a mirrored box concept.
