El Talentón youth entrepreneurship competition
Overview
The second edition of ‘El Talentón’, an initiative designed to promote entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation among the youth of the Canary Islands, is moving toward its regional grand final. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 12, at the Teatro Circo de Marte in Santa Cruz de La Palma.
Nine projects selected from all eight islands will present their initiatives to a jury and the public. These projects span multiple sectors, including sustainability, health, culture, tourism, and fire prevention. To assist in transitioning ideas into viable solutions, each finalist team was provided with 1,500 euros in funding to develop a minimum viable product (MVP), alongside mentorship in finance, marketing, and technology.
