Various regional initiatives in Latin America and America, the Caribbean Caribbean, and Europe have emerged to support elderly populations through social, medical, and community-based programs. In Argentina and the Dominican Republic, efforts have focused on specific care models and awareness. In Spain, Huelva renewed an agreement with AFA Huelva to fund Alzheimer's prevention, Almería hosted a congress to combat ageism, and Mos provided digital literacy training for seniors. In Argentina, Comodoro Rivadavia trained over 80 caregivers to improve autonomy for those living with dementia. In Uruguay, the municipality of Florida organized a seminar regarding the health and social integration challenges of a growing elderly population.
