A recent decision by the Federal Justice Section in Rondônia, following action by the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), has reaffirmed these interstate bus discount rights on a national scale. The court ruled that bus companies cannot legally impose time limits or advance purchase requirements to access these discounts, as such restrictions are not authorized by the Statute of the Elderly.
