Emre Yılmaz Mercedes-Benz collection in Samsun

Overview

Emre Yılmaz, a businessman in Samsun, Turkey, has established a private museum featuring a collection of rare and classic Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The collection is housed in a converted garage at his place of business and includes notable models such as a 1992 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster and a 1963 Mercedes-Benz W111 220 S Heckflosse.

Yılmaz, who began collecting 12 years ago, manages the museum by rotating pieces and occasionally selling certain vehicles to acquire new, rare models. While he reportedly declined previous offers to maintain the integrity of the museum, he has stated he would not refuse a sale if a vehicle reaches its perceived value. For daily transportation, Yılmaz utilizes an electric Alpine A290, reserving the classic Mercedes models for special occasions and enthusiast gatherings.
