Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi met in El Alamein to discuss the ongoing energy partnership between Egypt and the Italian company. Discussions also addressed regional energy integration, specifically the potential to connect Cyprus’ Cronos gas field to Egyptian infrastructure to strengthen Egypt’s role as a regional hub for gas processing, trading, and liquefaction.
