Entrepreneurship and training initiatives in Manaus

Overview

Manaus has implemented various initiatives to support local entrepreneurship and professional development.

Through the Municipal Secretariat of Labor, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Semtepi) and Sebrae-AM, the city completed its 345th Empretec training class. This program uses a United Nations methodology to help participants develop strategic business skills and sustainable growth.

Additionally, the FavEla Empoder@ program, a partnership between Softex and the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), launched professional training for 263 women in the West Zone.
