Eos Energy strategic and project developments

Overview

Eos Energy Enterprises has initiated several strategic developments to advance its long-duration energy storage (LDES) technology and commercial operations.

Initially, the company entered a non-exclusive collaboration with WATTMORE, Inc. to integrate the Intellect Operate controls platform with Eos’ DawnOS and Z3 systems. This partnership aims to provide pre-integrated Energy Management System and Power Plant Controller solutions to simplify deployment for customers. During this period, Eos also appointed Michelle Buczkowski as Chief Commercial Officer to oversee sales, business development, and government affairs.

Subsequently, Eos announced a partnership with Google and MN8 Energy for the Mammoth Solar project in West Virginia. This project, located on a reclaimed coal mine, will combine 86 MW of utility-scale solar power with Eos’s Z3 zinc-based storage technology to provide up to 10 hours of storage. The project is intended to stabilize the grid and support Google’s data center requirements, with solar operations projected for 2028 and storage solutions expected to come online between 2029 and 2030.
