Local concerns persist regarding the Black Sea Coastal Road, with journalists noting that viaducts act as a ‘concrete wall’ restricting sea access. Additionally, hazelnut producers have requested government intervention regarding market pricing and TMO purchasing policies. During the Rize visit, a notable interaction also occurred with Abdulai Yahaya, a medical graduate from Ghana who chose to study at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University due to the institution’s namesake.
