In FIBA Cup Group D, BC Roma secured a 77:72 victory over Balkan Botevgrad in an overtime thriller. Although the Bulgarian champions led 33:29 at halftime and forced overtime following a 69:69 tie in regulation, Roma controlled the extra period with an 8:3 scoring run. Arturs Strautins led Roma with 17 points and 8 rebounds, while Aleksandar Stoymenov scored 16 points for Balkan Botevgrad.
