This represents a significant increase from the previous season’s £3 billion and is triple the spending recorded five years ago. Their investments included approximately €145 million for Enzo Fernández from Chelsea—a deal that matched the British transfer record—and €135 million for Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest, contributing to a total market investment estimated at over €525 million for the club.
