Events at Deer Valley Resort

Overview

Deer Valley Resort held its fifth annual Mountain Beer Festival at Silver Lake Lodge on September 19 and 20. The event attracted approximately 4,000 attendees who participated in tastings of Utah craft brews and visited local food vendors.

Weather during the festival was inconsistent; Saturday included rain, brief hail, and temperatures in the mid-50s, while Sunday was described as a “perfect autumn day.” The festival featured 21 Utah breweries and live musical performances by Dylan Cotrone and the band G. Love & Special Sauce. The event serves as a seasonal transition for the resort prior to the start of the ski season in December.
