Expoagas 2026 supermarket convention

Overview

The 43rd Convenção Gaúcha de Supermercados – Expoagas is scheduled to take place in Porto Alegre from 18 to 20 August 2026 at the Centro de Eventos Fiergs. Organized by the Associação Gaúcha de Supermercados (Agas), the event is expanding its exhibition space by 63% through a new 7,000 m² area, allowing for a record number of exhibitors.

The fair expects 610 exhibitors and is projected to generate more than R$800 million in business. Agas president Lindonor Peruzzo Junior noted that the supermarket sector serves as a “major engine of the state economy.” The event will utilize a new sector-based layout to group products such as beverages, fresh produce, and technology to improve networking and regional supply chain strength.
