Extradition of Nigerian nationals to the United States

Overview

The United States is conducting extraditions of Nigerian nationals to face various federal charges related to transnational cybercrime and financial fraud.

In one instance, Adebola Festus Adekunle and Mudashiru Afeez Olawale were extradited following an international crackdown known as ‘Operation Artemis’.
