On August 16, 26-year-old saleswoman Bharathi Mukhi was killed in Hyderabad after being struck by a speeding Aston Martin DBX707 near Inorbit Mall in the Madhapur area. Mukhi, a native of Odisha who worked at a Lifestyle store, was reportedly crossing the road while returning from lunch with a colleague when the vehicle hit her, causing severe head injuries that led to her death upon arrival at Apollo Hospital. Police have identified the driver as 21-year-old Lingamaneni Sanjush, the son of Andhra Pradesh Rajya Sabha MP and businessman Lingamaneni Ramesh of the Janasena Party. Cyberabad Police have registered a case against Sanjush under Section 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for causing death by negligence. Investigators have seized the luxury ~~vehicle.~~ vehicle, and a Motor Vehicle Inspector is currently conducting an examination.
