The child suffered massive hemorrhaging and cardiac arrest before succumbing to her wounds at the Hospital de Niños. Her aunt also sustained injuries while attempting to intervene.

On September 4, further incidents were reported. In the Cabildo neighborhood, a two-year-old girl died after an attack by two Dogo Argentino dogs at her uncle’s residence; medical staff attempted resuscitation for over an hour before she passed. In Alta Gracia, a two-year-old boy died in the Villa Oviedo neighborhood following a pitbull attack while his mother was preparing to bathe him.
