In Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic, 48-year-old driver Félix Valentín Casalinovo Trinidad was killed during a suspected robbery in the Las Américas sector. Reports indicate that Casalinovo picked up four men near the intersection of Calle 9 and Avenida 25 de Febrero. Upon realizing the situation was an attempted robbery, he tried to flee, but the suspects pursued and shot him.
