Fatal tractor accident near Slovenian-Italian border

A 55-year-old man died following a tractor accident in the village of Golo Brdo, near the Slovenian-Italian border. According to the Nova Gorica Police Administration, the man was operating a tractor equipped with a tank when it reversed into a riverbed near the Idrija River.

Preliminary findings indicate the accident occurred as the man was dismounting the vehicle, causing him to fall and sustain a severe head injury. While emergency responders arrived at the scene, the man had already passed away.
