Ferrari is preparing a major tribute to seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher during the upcoming Italian Grand Prix at Monza, scheduled for September 4 to September 6, 2026. The celebration marks the 30th anniversary of Schumacher’s first season with the Scuderia in 1996 and the 20th anniversary of his final victory at the circuit in 2006. To honor the legend, drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will wear special racing suits and team kits featuring Schumacher’s personal ‘M S’ logo and seven white stars. The team has unveiled a special SF-26 car livery, referred to as the ‘Sunday Rituals’ design, inspired by the 1996 F310. This livery features predominantly red bodywork, white wings, black detailing, and gold accents on the wheels, with seven stars displayed on the nose or front wing. As part of the ‘Sunday Rituals’ event, historical demonstration laps have commenced. Rubens Barrichello, Schumacher’s former teammate, drove the championship-winning F2002 at the Monza Circuit.
