Festa dei Lettori cultural festival in Italy

Overview

The ‘Festa dei Lettori’ cultural festival, organized by the Presidio del Libro, has been held in various locations in Italy. The event in Corato focused on the theme ‘The power of words,’ exploring how language influences social inclusion, exclusion, and the shaping of reality through literary presentations and cultural reflections.

Following this, the 22nd edition of the festival continued in Alberobello with the theme ‘Le vie delle parole.’ This installment featured writer and historian Carmen Pellegrino, who presented her work ‘Le parole che mancano.’ The discussion centered on the relationship between memory, education, and social redemption, specifically examining how past generations utilized culture for emancipation.
