The investigation into the Filo Jet passenger ferry shipwreck off the coast of Kyrenia continues. The disaster, which occurred on August 30, has resulted in a rising death toll. Following deep-sea operations by underwater engineering firm Derinsu Su Altı Mühendislik, which utilized robots and sonar to scan 10 million square meters of seabed, the confirmed deceased has reached 27.
