In late June 2026, the band announced its untitled tenth studio album, later confirmed as *Legacy* and tied to the group’s 20-year anniversary. The first single, “Eye of the Storm,” was described as a midpoint preview and quickly entered the Top 5 on rock radio, amassing millions of streams and earning the band its 18th consecutive No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart (July 8). *Legacy* was released digitally on 31 July 2026, with CD, vinyl and cassette editions slated for 18 September. The album includes the track “Nails In The Coffin,” which guitarist Zoltan Bathory described as a metaphor for burying doubts and predictions of failure. Bathory framed the album as a definitive statement of the band’s sound and a milestone that indicates the group is “not even close” to retiring. A world tour supporting the release began on 20 July 2026 in North America, featuring guest acts such as Lamb of God, Bleed From Within, Eva Under Fire, and Cody Jinks. The tour includes career-spanning setlists and will extend into 2027 with European dates in Germany, the UK, Poland, the Czech Republic, France and Austria. During a performance in Cincinnati, Ohio, where onstage temperatures reached approximately 103 degrees Fahrenheit, frontman Ivan Moody paused the show to ~~address extreme heat and humidity, distributing~~ distribute water to and ensure fan ~~safety and~~ safety, stating, “This is how we take care of each other.” As part of the 20th Anniversary Tour, the band announced a free global livestream of their upcoming performance at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, scheduled for 8 September via the Veeps platform. Part of the tour revenue supports U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes preparing for the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
