FIX 2026 and ROBEX 2026 technology fairs in Daegu

The 2026 Future Innovation Technology Fair (FIX 2026) is scheduled for October 21 to 24 at the EXCO in Daegu, South Korea. Operating under the theme ‘AI, Beyond Technology, Into Everyday Life,’ the event is set to be the largest to date, featuring 588 participating companies, with international participation expected to reach approximately 28%.

The expo is organized into four primary sectors: mobility, robotics, information and communication technology (ICT), and startups. The mobility segment will feature autonomous driving, electric vehicles, and urban air mobility (UAM) from companies including Hyundai Motor Company, Mercedes-Benz, Zeekr, and Volocopter.

Held in conjunction with FIX 2026, the 15th Daegu International Robot Exhibition (ROBEX 2026) will showcase 65 companies across 220 booths. This segment focuses on industrial, collaborative, humanoid, and autonomous mobile robots (AMR). Key participants include:

• HD Hyundai Robotics: Presenting physical AI-based intelligent dual-arm robots and the HDC series of collaborative robots.

• Doosan Robotics: Displaying its ‘Scan & Go’ technology, which won a CES 2026 AI Innovation Award, alongside palletizing solutions.

• A-Robot: Showcasing ‘ALICE 5’, a humanoid robot recognized at the 2026 RoboCup.

International robotics contributors include Epson (Japan), Universal Robots (Denmark), and MiR. The event supports Daegu’s goal of becoming a hub for AI and advanced robotics, including the establishment of a national robot test field and a specialized complex for humanoid robots.

The broader event includes a three-day conference with experts from 14 countries and expanded export consultation sessions.
