In late October 2026, various food service providers in Japan launched meat-themed promotions. Pizza Hut held a five-day campaign featuring meat-based half-and-half pizzas and limited-edition rice pizzas at reduced prices. Simultaneously, Pepper Lunch and its affiliated brands offered a one-day promotion providing a 29 percent increase in meat portions for specific menu items like Beef Pepper Rice. By early November, promotional activities continued with different themes. Pizza Hut Japan introduced a “Year-end Household Support Size-up Special Sale,” offering medium-sized pizzas at small-pizza prices for selected varieties. Additionally, Pizza-La announced a collaboration with San-X, offering limited-edition character merchandise, such as ceramic plates and stickers, with pizza purchases. From November 8 to November 10, 2026, Pizza Hut Japan scheduled its monthly “Hat Day” promotion. This three-day event offered select medium-sized pizzas for takeout starting at 810 yen, including varieties such as the pepperoni classic and the 3-cheese lasagna-style meat sauce pizza. The promotion also included discounted side menu items, such as bulgogi and mentaiko mayo rice pizzas, at 50 percent off.
