Formula 1 technical regulations have undergone several stages of evolution aimed at altering car performance and aerodynamics. Initial technical adjustments, including revised brake ducts, rear wings, and bargeboards, were implemented to produce “tangible” gains in overtaking potential. Specific measures include banning the proliferation of profiles on the rear wing, reducing rear wing volume, and limiting elements near exhaust exits and the rear impact structure. The regulations also target the car's floor by shortening the central portion near the T-tray area and reducing elements in the floor's entry section to contain aerodynamic load.
