Overview

In July 2026 the Brazilian Serie B side Fortaleza dismissed head coach Tiago Carpini after 42 matches, with the team sitting fifth on 31 points and struggling in away games. The club announced the appointment of 69‑year‑old veteran Paulo Autuori on a contract running to the end of the 2026 season.
