Fortescue Zero Racing Formula E entry

Overview

Fortescue Zero Racing, a new entrant to the Formula E championship for the 2026-27 season, has begun assembling its driver lineup. On October 12, British driver Taylor Barnard signed with the team, ending speculation about his future following his departure from DS Automobiles.

By October 22, the team confirmed an all-British driver duo consisting of Barnard and Dan Ticktum. The team entered the championship by acquiring the license and assets of the former DS Penske operation. Based in Kidlington, United Kingdom, and led by Team Principal Jim Wright, the squad will utilize Jaguar powertrains during the upcoming GEN4 regulation era.

On October 24, the team, described as an Australian outfit, finalized its driver roster by officially announcing Dan Ticktum as the second driver alongside Barnard. Ticktum, formerly of Cupra Kiro, stated he felt the “honor of representing Fortescue Zero Racing in its inaugural season” and expressed enthusiasm for building the new team from the ground up.
