The FOSIS agency is implementing entrepreneurship and training programs across various Chilean regions to support vulnerable populations and foster economic independence. In the Maule region, specifically in Longaví, a group of rural women entrepreneurs received equipment, training, and a processing room through the "Emprendamos Grupal Autogestionado" program. This investment aims to help them meet sanitary requirements to expand their market reach from local fairs to larger cities like Santiago. Furthermore, the agency is pursuing social innovation through "Innova FOSIS" and food recovery via "EcoMercados Solidarios."
